Pink Angel’s Trumpet (Brugmansia suaveolens). The fragrant blossoms of this wonderful tree grow at my house. They have huge, downward-facing flowers that are pollinated by nocturnal moths.

One of the seasonal changes I love the most is the changing of the aspen colors in the mountains of Santa Fe. The contrast of the aspen colors against the conifer forest, the smell and the sound are intrinsically tied to autumn for me.
